At work, I just received a printout of an email with a USB drive taped to it.

The most confusing thing I ever got was a picture from someone’s phone of an electronic form that someone had printed out and written on and scanned back in. I think I printed it out and made comments and scanned it back to the user.

Yeah, our official timecard process involves filling out a spreadsheet, printing it, signing it, scanning it, and emailing. Somehow that process is fairly error-prone...

I don’t see a fax in that list so at least there is that.

Email attachments. How do they work???
No one knows.
We once had an excel file document with so much embedded data that it wouldn’t email. And we had fucking huge pipes. Had to pay a guy to drive it to the customer in another country every time we updated the document. Fedex was overnight and therefore not ok to them. One sheet in the whole document.....
Alternately, I started to wonder what was in the 3 filing cabinets in my office. The one I used had cups in the bottom drawer with spray paint and the top was the previous occupant’s meeting notes. The other 2 and a half? The occupant at the end of the 90s/beginning of the 2000s, had printed EVERY EMAIL HE EVER GOT. All of em. 5 years of emails... Needless to say I very quickly has ONE filing cabinet.
